In the post-Soviet period, CSKA also did not remain without trophies: six Russian championship titles, seven Russian Cups and eight Russian Super Cups. The club's most significant achievement was victory in the 2005 UEFA Cup, when the army team beat Sporting Lisbon with a score of 3:1, becoming the first Russian club to win this European trophy. In the 2024/25 season, the team finished the championship in third place in the RPL under the leadership of the ambitious Nikolic, defeating Nizhny Novgorod's Pari NN with a score of 2:0 and gaining 59 points.
