Rostov and CSKA will meet in a grand football event — the Russian Cup Super Final — at the Luzhniki Stadium
For Rostov, reaching the Russian Cup Super Final was a real achievement. The team overcame a difficult path, defeating strong opponents, and showed the will to win at key moments. Under the leadership of Jonathan Alba, Rostov defeated Moscow Spartak with a score of 2:1 in the final of the Path of Regions, which took place at the Lukoil Arena stadium. The winning goals - an own goal by Alexander Maksimenko and an accurate strike by Nikolai Komlichenko - secured a place for the Rostov team in the Super Final. Alba, who took over the team this spring, is known for his demanding nature and ability to find a common language with the players. This season, Kirill Schetinin, Maxim Osipenko, Nikolai Komlichenko and Egor Golenkov have stood out under his leadership.
CSKA also demonstrated its strength and ambitions, reaching the Russian Cup Super Final. This success strengthened the team's confidence and attracted the attention of fans and experts. CSKA's strategy is based on aggressive pressing, quick transitions from defense to attack, and ball control. After a poor start to the season, the team led by Marko Nikolic was able to regain form and defeat Zenit St. Petersburg, which allowed them to claim the trophy. The flexibility of tactical schemes allows CSKA to adapt to the various playing styles of their opponents. Under Nikolic, key figures include players such as Igor Akinfeev, Vladislav Torop, and Danila Bessonov. Forwards Fedor Chalov, Anton Zabolotny, Adolfo Gaich, and Jean-Philippe Crasseau regularly delight with their scoring performances, and the defenders and midfielders reliably support them on the field. Experienced goalkeepers demonstrate reliability in goal, and the defensive line is distinguished by its strength and tactical literacy. A creative midfield and lightning-fast attack are the main assets of the team led by the ambitious Serbian Marko Nikolic. Previously, he successfully coached the Dubai club Shabab Al Ahli, with whom he won the UAE Super Cup.
Tickets for the match between Rostov and CSKA in the Russian Football Cup Final in Luzhniki are still available for purchase online, but you should not delay purchasing them.
