Ukraine's victory in the match against Sweden and reaching the quarterfinals of Euro 2020
The match was held in Glasgow (Scotland) at the Hampden Park stadium. The meeting was served by an Italian team of referees led by Daniele Orsato, assisted by Alessandro Giallatini and Fabiano Preti. The reserve judge was also the Italian Davide Massa.
The score in the mast was opened by the midfielder of the national team of Ukraine Alexander Zinchenko in the 27th minute. After the transfer of Andrey Yarmolenko, Alexander sends the ball into the far corner of the goal in touch. The Swedes won back in the 43rd minute, midfielder Emil Forsberg completed the attack with a strong blow from outside the penalty area, the ball ricocheted from the defender into the goal. In overtime, Sweden defender Markus Danielsson receives a red card and is accordingly removed from the field, and the Swedes finish the game already in the minority. First, the referee Daniele Orsato shows a yellow card to the Swede, but after watching VAR changes his mind to a more severe one and assigns a red card and removes him from the field. In the 120th minute, the striker of the national team of Ukraine Artem Dovbik scores the winning goal in this game. Artem became the author of the latest goal in the history of the European Championships, the previous achievement was in Michel Platini at Euro 1984 and the mark was at 118 minutes.
