Sergey Semak's press conference after Zenit's victory over Akhmat
Immediately after the match, the blue-white-blue coach shared his impressions of the victory over "Akhmat". First of all, the head coach noted a difficult first half, especially in the context of the previous two meetings of his wards.
Then there was a question about the unusual scheme of the game of "Akhmat" according to the scheme of three central defenders and whether it was a surprise for "Zenit". Sergey Semak replied that in general it caused some difficulties, but his players still created good fast attacks in the first half, but without scoring a goal.
Also, the coach of Zenit answered the question of what exactly did not work out in the positional attack in the first half for his wards. According to Sergey Semak, the main reason is the worthy resistance of Akhmat, as well as a lot of marriage in the initial phase and an aggressive and good game of opponents.
The coach of Zenit noted that after the match Azmun should not be considered a regular penalty taker instead of Dzyuba. It's just that today his forwards had such an agreement that for this game the club had two players who would have to kick penalties in turn, first Artem, then Serdar. In general, Sergey Semak noted the good readiness of his players, which led to the deserved victory of the club in the match.
