Dzyuba brought victory to Zenit in the match with the national team of Jordan
For this match, the starting line-up of Zenit looked as follows: Kerzhakov Krugovoy, Hotulev, Lovren (team captain), Karavaev Mostovoy, Wendel, Barrios, Ozdoev, Malkom Driussi.
It cannot be said that this match was an easy walk for the residents of St. Petersburg. The opponents studied our champion well and in the first half of the match practically did not allow the blue-white-blues to approach their goal and in every way prevented them from controlling the ball. An interesting fact is that in the first half of the opening half, the players of the opposing team were more often in the opponent's penalty area than, in fact, the team of Sergei Semak itself.
The Jordan national team professed defensive tactics throughout the match, in which the Zenit players could not create a dangerous moment in any way. Only towards the end of the first half, Malkom appeared in the area of the eleven-meter mark and the St. Petersburg team managed to hold several dangerous standards.
Zenit started the second half better, which obviously began to adapt to the opponent. There have been some changes in the composition of the St. Petersburg team. So Lunev, Sutormin, Chistyakov, Rakitsky, Sazonov, Zhirkov, Dzyuba and Krapukhin entered the field. Kerzhakov, Karavaev, Lovren, Khotulev, Wendel, Driussi and Barrios left.
At the 56th minute, the score was finally opened. The goal was scored in a beautiful manner by the striker of Zenit Artem Dzyuba. After that, the St. Petersburg team almost completely dominated the field. Soon Chibisov and Shamkin appeared instead of Ozdoev and Mostovoy. At the end of the game, the Jordanians had some good chances, but failed to score.
