On June 6, the long-awaited match between the Russian national team and the Nigerian team will take place at the Luzhniki stadium.

Nigeria recently won 2-0 against Rwanda in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, and also drew 1-1 with Zimbabwe. Last year, the Nigerians confidently reached the final of the African Cup of Nations, losing only to the tournament host, Côte d'Ivoire, with a score of 1-2. The African team is known for its creative approach to the game and the ability of each player to take the initiative.
