Captain of the Azerbaijani national team and Baku “Neftchi” Emin Makhmudov scored a double against the Swedish national team as part of the qualification for EURO 2024. The strongest assets in the Azerbaijani team are also Ramil Sheydayev and Mahir Emreli. It is impossible not to mention another Azerbaijani star – this is the son of the head coach of Agdam “Qarabag” Gurbana Gurbanova and the forward of the Swedish “Djurgården” Musa Gurbanli.
