Dynamo and Spartak will meet in the 23rd round of the RPL

Both teams have a long and glorious history, but they haven’t won prizes for a long time. So, the blue and white finished last season in 9th place, the year before – in 3rd place, and in the 2020/2021 season they did not move further than 7th place.

Their opponents were also pushed aside by such teams as "CSKA" and "Zenith", to places far from victorious. Only last season the red-and-whites received RPL bronze, and the year before they slipped to 10th place.

The urgency of the upcoming meeting is made by the fact that the gap between the teams this season is not so great. Dynamo is in 3rd place with 32 points, and the red and white – on the 5th with 30th. From the leader, "Krasnodar" with its 38 points, they are separated not by an abyss, but by a completely surmountable distance. Therefore, every meeting will be of great importance, every point is important. Moreover, the management set difficult tasks for both teams. "Dynamo" should be among the top four, and "Spartak" has set itself an even higher bar. These are gold medals of the Russian Championship, as well as the final of the Russian Cup, by and large – victory.

So, we are looking forward to the meeting of two legendary teams. It will be held at the modern multifunctional VTB Arena, designed for more than 25 thousand people.
