Football fans can expect exciting action at the VTB Arena in Moscow, where a friendly match between the national teams of Russia and Serbia will take place. The sporting event is already generating great interest and UEFA has confirmed it will take place at the end of 2023.
It is important to note that this is the first meeting between a European team and a Russian team in the last two years. Due to the fact that Russian clubs have been suspended from international competitions, the arrival of the Serbian national team is tentatively arousing great interest.
Although the national teams of Russia and Serbia have already met each other on the field several times, having played a number of matches in various tournaments and competitions, the results of previous matches cannot guarantee success in this meeting. Valery Karpin's team was absent from the international arena, while Serbia occupies a high place in the rankings. Therefore, this rivalry promises to be a real test for both teams.
