Spartak vs Zenit: we meet a new series of derbies of two capitals
The new season of the RPL is gaining momentum and at the very start gives us a spectacular confrontation between two principled rivals - Spartak Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg. The history of the confrontation between these clubs began in the 2010s with the serious defeat of "Spartak" St. Petersburg football players on their own home field. Zenit fans could not forgive the Moscow club for such a loud defeat and began to pay close attention to the personal meetings of their favorite team with this rival. Thus was born another interesting derby, which abounds in Russian football.
In the history of personal meetings of these rivals, luck alternately turns out to be on different sides. Although Spartak is not included in the list of leaders of the last season's RPL standings, it can still be called a strong and ambitious opponent capable of surprising. In the offseason, he updated his squad. This means that the upcoming match of the champion of Russia and the winner of the Super Cup "Zenit" with the Moscow team is an intrigue that will be played out in front of those who will come to the stands of the stadium "Opening Arena" this evening.
In the last derby match, the victory went to Zenit. This time the teams meet on the home field of Muscovites. Who knows, maybe they will be able to win back, because on their own field and the stands help.
Tickets for the match "Spartak" - "Zenit" are already on sale. To buy them, it is enough to have a fan card and place an order online. You no longer need to go to the ticket offices of the stadium to attend the game!
