16 teams will participate in the upcoming season. Nominally, they are collected in four "baskets", in which: Zenit, Spartak, CSKA, Dynamo, Akhmat, Rostov, Krasnodar, Lokomotiv, Orenburg, Krylia Sovetov, Sochi, Ural, "Pari NN", "Baltika", "Rubin" and "Torch". All participants of the upcoming season are actively preparing, strengthening their squads.
Special attention of football fans is focused on Zenit, which will participate in the matches of the PARI Premier tournament from July 1, as well as once again fight for the Russian Super Cup with the Moscow "army". The Zenit - CSKA Super Cup match promises to be the brightest football event of the summer in our country. This year it will be held in Kazan, which won the right to host the tournament at its Ak Bars Arena stadium. The game will take place on July 15, 2023.
