Estadio BBVA is a modern football stadium located in Guadalupe, Nuevo León, Mexico. Home to Monterrey CF, it replaced the Estadio Tecnológico, which served the team for over six decades. Since its opening on August 2, 2015, the stadium has become an important part of the region's sports infrastructure.
With a capacity of 53,529 spectators and a GrassMaster natural turf pitch, Estadio BBVA meets FIFA's high standards. Construction began in August 2011 and was completed in July 2015, making it the most expensive project of its kind in Mexico at the time. In 2016, the capacity was increased to its current 53,500 seats.
