Zenit has the first stadium in attendance in the 2020/2021 season
The Zenit Stadium hosted 29 matches this year, which were watched by 436,289 spectators. For comparison, Spartak had 323,027 people at 30 matches, an order of magnitude fewer fans. Rostov is in third place, the number of fans of the club who attended 29 games totals 306,843.
The press service of Zenit informs that the Gazprom Arena stadium has taken the first place in terms of occupancy in Europe and the third place in the world, second only to Guangzhou in China and Atlanta United in the USA.
It is important to take into account that due to measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the 2020-2021 season, the occupancy of European stadiums has significantly decreased, at the Russian Championship, arenas were also allowed to fill only 50% of the total capacity.
