The match started interestingly from the first minutes. A tense struggle was waged literally on all parts of the field. Both teams tried to find a weak spot in the enemy's defense and make an accurate "shot".
Rostov withstood the onslaught of the hosts and hoped for chances in a retaliatory attack. Both teams mostly played in the central zone, rarely reaching the penalty area.
Wendel made a dangerous long shot, but not quite successfully. In response, the player "Rostov", Gambian Sauce made a good attempt to score "Zenit". Kerzhakov intercepted the ball from him, but the St. Petersburg team allowed Rostov to make several dangerous combinations and again Sou attempted to score a goal, and it succeeded.
In the second half, the Zenit players began to crowd the guests with redoubled zeal. Azmun's overhead kick and Dzyuba's direct shot were easily deflected by the goalkeeper of Rostov Pesyakov.
The goal in the goal of "Rostov" still turned out to be, but a player of the same club scored it there. Awkwardly performing the maneuver, he cut off the shot and hit his own goal. The score was equalized, and this was followed by the second goal scored by Zenit in the 78th minute.
In the final segment of the meeting, Sou managed to level the position of Rostov and bring the result of the game to a draw. It ended with a score of 2:2 and turned out to be interesting and bright, eventful.
