CSKA vs. Spartak match — tickets to VEB Arena

VEB Arena is gearing up to host one of the most anticipated games of the season—the CSKA vs. Spartak derby in the Russian Premier League. For the club, this is a special home game: the stands, which seat approximately 30,000 spectators, are rarely empty on match days against this archrival.

Both teams have a reason to prove their worth in this very match. Under the leadership of Juan Carcedo, Spartak won the Russian Cup in the spring of 2026 by defeating CSKA in the final and enters the match as the defending champion. CSKA, meanwhile, began the season with a new head coach, Dmitry Igdisamov, and intends to show that the coaching staff change will benefit the team as early as these matches against their archrivals.

The clubs have faced each other 82 times, and CSKA holds a slight edge in this rivalry—35 wins to Spartak’s 30, with 17 draws. These statistics only underscore the fact that it is impossible to predict the favorite in this derby in advance.
