Rostec Arena, formerly known as the Kaliningrad Stadium, is a modern football stadium located in a picturesque place on Oktyabrsky Island in Kaliningrad. Kaliningrad was one of the eleven host cities of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Rostec Arena hosted four matches of the tournament's group stage, which were attended by a total of 132,249 spectators. The final part of the championship was held from June 14 to July 15 in Russia.
Rostec Arena is also one of the venues where the Russian national football team holds its official matches. This makes the arena an important center of the country's football life.
